this is the first leather jacket i have ever owned. this is a nice fit and great look. i cant wait to wear it out and i got it at a nice price. mjulian is a nice line i hope to buy more in the future. i also got this really quick too.

It is a nice looking jacket but it was small for a large. I am 5'10" and wear a 42R and the arms were too short. Also, the shoulders were tight as well.

I was somewhat leery about the price being so low for this style of coat. I didn't want to buy something that I wouldn't use so I weighed heavily on getting something else. I am glad I did not. About 8 years ago, I got the M.Julian Leather Zip Front Jacket as a gift. It has been one of my favorites, I wear it all the time. If the Hipster was similar in quality I knew I would be happy. I was.

Now about the coat...
It is very soft leather with no imperfections. It is very light but also very warm. The quality of the stitching seems top notch and the buttons are attached well (although I have never had it buttoned) My other coat is a large and it fits very well. I ordered this in an XL so I could wear something under it. The XL was a good choice, it is not too big.
The coat gets a lot of compliments from everyone. I'm very happy with it so far. If you are considering purchasing one do it before they discontinue it or raise the price, you will not regret it.

I was worried a large would be too small in the sleeves when i ordered it as i am 6' and have long arms. When i recieved the jacket it has the feel of a custom made jacket to my body. It does not feel baggy anywhere and the sleeves are perfect length. If it was any smaller it would be too small, any larger too large. It is like this jacket was made to fit me right off the rack! Could not be happier! Now if it will stand the test of time as did my 10 year + other Wilsons leather jacket i will be VERY happy! One alteration though, i will take the extra button that came with it and have a taloir custom place it at the top of the jacket so it will button all the way up for those cold days!

Personally I think MJulian make the most stylish leather jackets on the planet. I am a fashion freak and my first MJulian jacket which I bought 10 years ago is easily my most complemented clothing item of all time. I just wish there were more MJulian hipster jackets online. I did buy this one, but I'd love to see a similar jacket to my original.
