I use my belt bag all the time, from business travel to person travel. I clip it to my computer bag when going to the office. It's versatile and keeps everything I need for travel - wallet, smartphone, medications, etc.

I will carry it daily as my purse; it's compact, lite weight and stylish with the black leather. I do wish it was a little larger as my last fanny pack was to hold a few more items but I am happy with my purchase, thank you.

I have been buying beltbags from Wilson's/Berman's for nearly (over?) 20 years, and they have traditionally been built to take a lickin' and keep on tickin' (uh-oh, I hope the folks from Timex don't come after me *lol*), with generally very sturdy construction, but my most recent purchase of a multi-compartment beltbag was decidedly more disappointing than any other I have made. The moment I took it out of the packaging - I bought it online - I could feel that the leather was much thinner than usual. Within a week-and-a-half, the top of the bag had torn along the seam. A call to Wilson's customer service was more frustrating than helpful. I was directed to send the bag to a leather shop on the Eastern Seaboard (at my own expense), even though I made clear that the bag was not even two weeks old. A call to the leather shop was even more perplexing: the person I spoke to had no idea why Wilson's would even bother to put me through all of that for an obviously problematic bag. I actually tried to continue using the bag, and over the next few weeks, I was amazed at the flimsiness of the bag - both the leather and the stitching tore in numerous places. Needless to say, it wasn't long before it met its fate at the bottom of the circular file. Thanks, Wilson's. At least I don't have to guess what you think of your customers...

This new beltbag is not made of all leather like my old one was a few years ago. The back of the old beltbag was leather also. The new beltbag is not leather, it is some kind of material. I still have the old one but it is wearing out since it is several years old. You had a great product when the beltbag was all leather.

The leather belt bag is simply very soft and supple and very light when you wear it. It is made of very nice quality leather that feels very smooth and soft to the touch. Can hold a passport or two, some money and a cell phone without any problems or undue sagging or stretching. It remains to be seen as to how long it lasts before developing white creases as all leather products but right now, it seems very solidly made. I will update this review after using it for a year or so.

Four starts because I wanted a tan one - It seems to only come in black.
