This bag is great. The leather is a great chestnut color and the latches on the front are traditional and functional. I ordered my bag on a Sunday, knowing it wouldn't even go into their system until Monday. Somehow it went through so quickly that I got it 2 days later on Tuesday!! It was great! I use it for work and school. I put my laptop and all of its cords in it, books, notebooks. And the front compartment is great for my iPod and pens and pencils. Overall great bag and service.

I got this bag for my 50th birthday and loved it... at first. But within a few months the bag started to fall apart. Now the panel that separates the main compartment from the smaller compartment is ripping, making it too difficult to use. In the end I'll go back to using my Lands End bag which has given many many good years of reliable service. this is too bad b/c this is a beautiful looking bag.

I thoroughly enjoy this bag so far. I've only had it for about 2-3 weeks, but it has gotten me plenty of compliments. I use it for commuting with my laptop and one or two law school textbooks. My only complaint is that it is slightly too narrow for giant, thick law school textbooks. Other than that, it's a solid purchase, especially for a young professional.

I have purchased this as a holiday gift for my husband, but he has not received or used it yet. All I can say is that it looks beautiful and sturdy. It will be a welcome replacement for what he is using now.

As a student doctor at a graduate school, I needed a bag that was not only functional, but attractive. I wanted something that I could take with me to classes, but that also transitioned well as I go into clinic to see my patients. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. The bag has really nice storage pockets inside, but I really love the magnetic closure on the outside pocket. It allows me to easily transport patient files without having to carry them in my hand the whole time, but still able to quickly retrieve them as needed without having to go through my whole bag. I have gotten so many compliments from fellow students about how "good looking" my bag is. The build quality is fantastic and feels very durable, and the leather is really top notch. I'm so glad that I bought this bag. It's going to be such an essential component of my daily routine. Thanks Wilson's Leather.

I searched around for a good while before coming across a leather messenger bag that was both big enough for my 17' laptop and decently affordable. The quality of the leather is amazing and the whole thing is very well put together. It is a tad darker than in the pictures, with a slightly redish hue, but it's a beautiful bag nonetheless. I ended up buying the darker brown version for my dad, which ended up being a good amount smaller and not of the same quality leather. It also lacked the internal magnetic claps that snap the pouches together and featured velcro instead. The make of this particular model definitely seemed superior. I get compliments on it all the time.

I bought this briefcase after an extensive search of many sites on the internet and local shops. And I couldn't be happier with my choice. I have had it for almost 4 months, and it still looks like new. The case looks better than the picture, with the color being exactly as shown. The look, feel, and quality of the leather was as good or better than the cases I looked at locally that sold for over $300. I paid around $130.

The zippers and clasps are strong and high quality that for the case. The fabric and stitching of the pouches and dividers are strong so you don't worry about them tearing. I've filled my case about as full as you can with a laptop, accessories and documents and never worried about anything separating.

I will echo the other comments about the strap; it should have been all leather. And a place for pens and cards would have been useful in the outside pouch for quick access.

But these are minor issues compared to the overall quality and style of the case. I look forward to using it for years and watching it age gracefully as only a great leather case can.

This was a gift for my husband, who lugs a laptop and files to and from his office daily. The bag is beautiful and would be perfect were it not for the fabric strap, which seems flimsy compared to the construction of the bag itself.
