This is an update to my previous review of this briefcase. I have used and abused it for six months. It has seen rain, snow, ice and sun. Crossed the country several times. It has been kissed and kicked, lost and found, loaded, unloaded, and overloaded. I am pleased to say this bag looks better with use. It aquires a wonderful wear patina and the leather becomes more supple. Hardware is very durable and looks new. No worries about the useful life of this
case; it will probably look great longer than its owners....

Excellent replacement for my Grandfather's D&RGW briefcase. Hopefully this will last as long. My one improvement would be more double stitching on the stress points. Very roomy- it fits my 17" laptop computer. Lots of nice compartments for all your essentials; it will take a little practice to decide where to locate things most conveniently. Over all, a really stylish, functional, and visually impressive bag. If you do not need a bag quite this big, check my review of a really fine messenger bag from Wilson's as well.

I chose this one because it was roomy enough to carry a few books, had a well-designed interior with plenty of storage, and a laptop sleeve built it. Has a well-built and classic feel, and I look forward to years of use.
