My husband has an older bag that is absolutely beaten and made of canvas. I was looking to replace it with a style he liked, but upgrade it a little. This bag does look a little more broken in than I had wanted- but I have a feeling he will love it. Especially if I say it looks just like Indiana Jones. The size is good and you can't beat the leather smell. We'll see how X-mas morning goes!

I think the bag is great and is perfect for my uses. I knew I wanted a leather bag but didn't want to spend too much money and wanted something that would last. The leather is soft and does show some wear but I'm sure it's nothing some conditioner couldn't take care of. Don't look directly at the arc of the covenant.

outstanding leather quality. Imagine it will wear well. Wish that there was a strap to hold the front down since the magnets do not work well when there are many items in the bag. Also the number of pockets is okay but wish there were more zippers or flap closures. Overall happy with the purchase.

This bag was just what my son of 27 years was looking for. He didn't want something that looked like a women's purse, but worked for his needs. Like for the office and day trips. Has a great feel with great size and many pockets. Some pockets are zipped and the main flap is magnetized. The one con is that sometimes the two magnets do not hit just right.

This bag has difficulty fitting a 16-inch computer inside. There is very little padding for the computer. The magnetic clasp for the main bag is horrible. Not as roomy as I thought it would be. The looks are great though and the bag is super comfortable. If you're not carrying a lot, it's great. If it's full, it won't clasp. Will need to find a bigger bag for more practical uses, but this bag works great for short trips with little to bring.

I was looking for a messenger bag to replace an excellent one I had had since college, which finally suffered a tragic zipper malfunction that I could not repair. I have been updating my wardrobe and stumbled upon this really beautiful bag while shopping on the web. I really appreciated the comments that this bag looked like an "Indiana Jones" bag and to be honest, that was all I needed to hear. I love the color, the texture, and the smell. That's the first thing you notice when the bag arrives in its tiny box at your front door. You can even smell the leather through the box. It is really cool. I haven't had it very long but will have to let you all know how it wears with time.

I am a young professional who desperately needed to upgrade from the backpack look. This bag is a great one for the price. It is masculine and stylish. I am a tall guy and the strap is a fine length for me. The number of pockets is adequate. It fits my laptop, a notebook, and a book or two. I have not had it long enough to test the durability, but it seems to be a well built bag.

While it has some shortcomings (namely, not enough organizer pockets and not enough internal zipped pockets - everything here is in open flaps) this is a great daybag for both work and play -- I just used it for a casual weekend trip to Paris and people asked me where I got it in Paris, fashion capital of the world!....I love it -- it feels very comfortable and soft, and it looks a bit distressed and Indiana Jonesish -- this is a masculine, high quality bag. The exerternal flap magnets seem to work well after several months of use, and everything is holding up well! Note that this has no internal cushioned compartments, nor a laptop compartment, so you will need a sleeve for your ipad or your laptop. It has a strong leather smell, that is still apparent two months after purchase -- I happen to love it, but I know others do not like that heavy leather scent. But most importantly, it is well-made, and it is very very light -- lighter than a nylon Timbuk2 for example. Its become a part of my daily persona!
