I have used this case FOR YEARS for my Motorola Razr. I'm on my 4th case for the same phone. I insert my belt through the wrist strap and let the case hang into my slack's right pocket. The phone hides very well inside the pocket while it remains secured to the belt. When I use the phone, I just simply remove it from the case and without any concerns let the case hang freely from the belt until I'm done using the phone. Even when the phonecase is in the way when I'm trying to take out my bulky keyholder, I just let the case with the phone in it hang from the belt, remove the keyholder from the pocket and stick the phone case back in the pocket without being afraid of dropping it. Its size has been PERFECT for the old Motorola Razr--once the-top-of-the-line in cellphones. The new top-of-the-line cellphones are larger. The iPhone 5 fits perfectly this case widthwise, but it's about 1" longer than the case. I have to update my cellphone and want to get the iPhone 5. I would really love to continue using this most versatile, very stylish, and high quality case, but that would only be possible if you would "update it" to fit a newer line of cellphones such as the iPhone 5. I've given it 5 stars because the product deserves it. I would give it 6 stars if you came out with an identical version, but for the iPhone 5. If you ever do, please keep the elastics on the sides, that way, it would allow for any protective case one may want to add to the phone.

I purchased this for my husband because I was tired to having to buy him a new one every few months, because he would break his. He is very clumsey!
