I purchased a very light tan colored Michael Kors bag and was concerned about it getting dirty or water stained. I researched different product and got the best reviews for Wilson's TLC Leather & Suede Protector so placed an order. Unfortunately when it arrived, the top of the bottle had come off and the product completely leaked out in the box! I was especially disappointed as I was waiting to treat my new handbag prior to carrying it, however, even though it was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend I was able to reach a live Customer Service rep who immediately placed a new order for me AND with Priority UPS shipping so I received it very quickly--much appreciated! I used the TLC as described. I was concerned about the color darkening as the bag is quite a pale tan color, and it IS a slightly darker shade of tan now, but it looks beautiful and feels like it's been "sealed", if that makes sense. The leather feels like it will resist water drops and/or stains but still feels soft and supple. I did 2 applications on this medium-to-large size handbag and still have about half the bottle left. I have 2 other bags I'd like to treat; one is black and I have no reservations about using the TLC on it, however I also have a bone colored bag and I'm a bit leery as I really don't want it getting darker so I'll have to find an area on it where I can do a small spot test. All in all, for the bag that I DID use the TLC on, I'm very pleased with the results! :)

I sprayed the product on my Wilson's Leather coat. It replaces an old aerosol version I had and used up. This spray (the pump spray) might work (the verdict is out yet), but I don't like it b/c of the applicator. Regardless of how little you spray, it goes on really heavy and kind of puddles on the leather--and you have to wipe off the excess. Yes, I could spray less, but then it appears a bit of an unequal application. So I guess this is more of a wipe-on protector rather than a spray-on protector, b/c the sprayer does not produce a good, fine mist.

Very dissatisfied just bought two pairs of cole haan shoes and this spray bleached the color of the leather. Now the shoes are ruined and I have to try and see if cole haan will take them back otherwise I'm out $400 thanks a lot. Would never use this spray again.

I was a big fan of the old aerosol version of this product. When I ran out of that bottle, I was hesitant to purchase this new version. It is a tad oily for the first few hours until it fully absorbs. But, overall, it still works the same (as far as protection). I spilled nacho cheese sauce on my beige suede coat and it just peeled right off once it was dry without me even having to take it to the cleaners. I have used it on my suede Chanel bag, and it's been ok. It just seemed to make the pores of the suede absorb dirt faster. Therefore, I have to have it cleaned more often, but it HAS protected it from rain and the bag comes crystal clean every time (It's black). For expensive handbags, I recommend taking it to a professional for protection. DO NOT trust ANY hoursehold product.

There is no indication on the label that this product will change the color of leather. Ruined a very expensive custom made purse with this product. Looks spotted and stained. Disgusting.
