I was dissapointed to see a discoloration on the front. Although Wilson says this is normal, I have personally never bought a leather jacket with such a noticable defect (and I have bought many).

I bought this jacket to replace a similar one that is starting to wear out after 8 years. The style I had was a "M.Julian" which apparently Wilson Leathers doesn't carry anymore. This jacket does look identical. However, the one I had was a size medium. So I got this new one in a medium also. The back of the jacket is too tight, I can hardly raise my arms, but the sleeves are perfect length. I am not returning for a large because I am afraid the sleeves will be way too long. So I will keep this and deal with it being a bit tight.

This jacket was one of the most visually and texturally appealing jackets I have ever owned. It fit like it was custom made for me. I was in the store for about 2 hours trying on coats and going back and forth until I finally discovered this one, and my decision was made instantly. I have only owned it for four months and worn it maybe 20 times out to dinner or to an event, and have always taken exceptional care of it.

However, two days ago I was waiting at a restaurant talking with some other guests, and put my hands in my pockets, and as I relaxed my arms, my left pocket make a "pop" noise, and I looked down to see a tear all the way around the left pocket, probably 8-10 inches long!! My perfect coat was not so perfect after all. Either I got a bad piece of leather that was exceptionally thin in that area, or the pocket was sewn wrong. I was extremely upset and embarrassed and plan to make contact with the company to see if they are willing to do anything about it.

Jacket came in way too small. Maybe a full size or more... Beware. Do not order online. Go to the store and try on first!

I've had this jacket for less than a week and the inside lining along the left shoulder is already torn. Because I reside in Canada, the free return shipping option does not apply. Mailing this back to the U.S. on my expense will be too costly.
