XL Size chart said 52 inch chest. My chest is 47 inch if I cross my arms feels like the back will split. The size chart is way off. if you wear a large go for the XL if you wear XL don't buy they don't offer an XXL.

Purchased this for my husband's anniversary gift. Received it 2 weeks before anniversary, so he couldn't wear it til then. He waited until 2 weeks later to wear it to a function. I noticed that even after hanging in the closet for 4 weeks, it was still wrinkled. Right out of box, he noticed that the hook loop that is located at the back inside collar was only attached with 1 stitch. He showed me today while at an event, 5 weeks later the hook loop, although he said that he never used it. He said that it was like that when I gave it to him. My goodness! I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this coat. I read all the glowing reviews and just knew that this was the one for him. This was after deliberating for a month before I actually purchased it from Wilson's. Some may feel that a wrinkled coat and 1 stitch hook loop is something that they can overlook, but what else is to come after say, 6 months of actual usage of the coat?

Most men's leather coats are short jackets. My son-in-law wanted something longer and this really fit the bill.

Wish the sizes compared to a sports jacket - I was a little worried the chest would be great but my monkey arms would do me in. Thankfully they didn't. A medium fit great and I wear somewhere between a 42R - 44L on other jackets.
