I ordered this bag from Wilson's last July. The first one had almost immediate problems - two straps split at the stitching to the body. They exchanged it for a new one. Now 6 mos later, that one is having problems - the "pebbled leather" is peeling off on the front! I am extremely disappointed because I thought Wilson's sold only top quality merchandise. Don't buy this bag unless you're looking for something that will only last a few months!

I bought this as a gift for my sister and she loves it! There are plenty of zippered compartments along with front and back zippered areas. Also a place to keep her cell phone. Excellent value.

On the onset - the pocket book looked perfect. The main features in my search were multiple pockets in the front and long cross-body straps for commuting. When I get the pocketbook - the pockets are great and exactly what I specified - but the straps are way too short and fall off my shoulder which completely defeats the purpose of this pocket book. I need to remain hands-free. The straps are starting to become brittle and are breaking apart. Not at all what I expected from a company with such a long-standing reputation for quality merchandise.

Extremely Unhappy with quality, as purchased 2 identical handbags while on holidays in USA in June 2012. I have made other purchases of handbags and leather goods including Jackets on previous trips to USA. But since returning to Australia I've had the straps on these bags repaired three times, as too far to return for exchange.

I have purchased Wilson Leather purses in the past and they wear incredibly well. I kept my last purse for 10 years and the only wear that was becoming apparent was on the top of the handles where the most wear occurs. Great products! :)

Disclaimer - i am very picky about my handbags.
First thought when i opened the box was "old lady"... i am 55 and i can't see myself carrying this purse for another 20 yrs. it is very stiff, not the softer leather i am accustomed to. Surprised to get this lower quality leather from Wilson's.
Couple seams were mis-sewn leaving gaps in the stitching.

This was a gift for my wife to match other accessories and jewelry in black. She loved it and I am "safe" until next Christmas! Whew!!

I've used small to medium cross-body bags for 20+ years. This one turned out to be too large for me, even though I did carefully consider the dimensions beforehand and really thought hard about keeping or gifting this nice bag. I think I'd have to use it as a shoulder bag instead of cross body. I did return it, so I cannot comment on its durability.

I ordered it because it has many pockets for organization. I'm not a tote bag kind of person and want to find my stuff easily. It really is big enough to put an e-reader or a tablet computer inside. I think it looks a bit utilitarian rather than a fashion bag, but that's the point! I wish I could remember the pocket layout, as I am very picky about the number of pockets I want (many), and this bag met my expectations.

The leather was soft, but the pebble pattern was too noticeable for my liking. I thought the double straps looked ok for carrying lightweight stuff but see in other reviews that for some, the straps are too thin or are wearing out. That is believable if they are using the bag a lot.

The purse does not last long, the straps have the thin cloth material and then break. I bought a 2nd purse and tried to make the purse lighter but the straps broke again in 3 months

leather straps are separating from seam of purse.
Can see thin material inside of straps, and leather is about 1 inch above seam...ready to break. Other than that, it's a great purse and great for organization, cell phone etc. Love it except for the straps ready to fall off.
